Carving on acrylic on plywood base. January 2024.
I create paintings in the technique of carving on acrylic. I coat the wood panel with layers of acrylic paint and then carve the picture. Carved by using linoleum knives. For a certain color I have to cut to its depth.
Diameter plywood base is 34 cm (≈13.4 in), front side diameter is 35 cm (≈13.8 in), 4 cm frame. Weight 1341 grams. 4 colors, 105 layers of acrylic paint. Weight 1341 grams.
The painting is covered with matte varnish.
