Carving on acrylic on plywood base. July 2024.
I create paintings in the technique of carving on acrylic. I coat the wood panel with layers of acrylic paint and then carve the picture. I use linocut cutters. For a certain color I have to cut to its depth.
Diameter plywood base is 30 cm (≈11.81 in), front side diameter is 31 cm (12.2 in), 2.7 cm (≈1 in) frame. Weight 765 grams. 3 colors, 73 layers of acrylic paint.
The painting is covered with matte varnish.
