Carving on acrylic on plywood base. May 2023.
I create paintings in the technique of carving on acrylic. I coat the wood panel with layers of acrylic paint and then carve the picture. For a certain color I have to cut to its depth.
This artwork was created by layering 74 layers of acrylic paint (4 tones). Carved by using linoleum knives. Size 34 cm x 33,4 cm x frame 4 cm. Weight 1.373 kg.
The painting is covered with matte varnish. Weight 1.373 kg.
Can be hung in any position.
