Carving on acrylic on plywood base. October 2024.
I create paintings in the technique of carving on acrylic. I coat the wood panel with layers of acrylic paint and then carve the picture.
This artwork was created by layering 65 layers of acrylic paint (4 colors). Front side diameter is 26.5 cm (10.43 in), 2.7 cm (1.06 in) frame. Weight 0.57 kg. Carved by using linoleum knives. Bright colors, wavy carving. A bit of a psychedelic picture. The central part is surrounded by deep carving patterns. The overall composition is visually attractive and quite dynamic. I used a glossy varnish to keep the rich tones.
Can be hung in any position.
